Executive Summary Business Plan

July 24, 2007
Rescue farms is an 800+ acres of farm land located in West Africa. The farm land is situated in the Volta region and in a village called
Logba Adeveme in the Hohoe south district. This land is located in a flat river valley, and has very fertile soil. The land has been left bare for the past 20 years. The land is clear, with only a few trees.
It is 3.5km north east of Logba Alakpeti. You can view a satellite image of Logba Alakpeti here:

Our farm will be registered as a non-governmental organization and will be operated similar to a 501c3 non-profit in the States. The farming business is concentrated on producing wide range of maize, cassava and grasscutter for meat production in Ghana and exporting to neighboring countries. Maize and cassava are main crops which are widely consumed in the African and world market at large, moreover they have so many uses. This business requires $200,000 as a farming capital to make this business a success.

We plan to start farming the land as soon as the funds needed are ready. We are now preparing a thorough business plan with financial projections for the first 3 years of operation. The split of this money of our initial expenses are as follows: $42,400 will be used to purchase one or more tractor sets, $43,800 will be used for trucks, $10,000 will be used for salon car and $19,400 a pick-up, $21,800 will be used for storage facilities, $16,400 will be used for payment of laborers for the first six months until our first harvests come in - at which time we will be able to continue paying the laborers from our income , $34,300 will be used for fertilizers, farming implements, and seeds.

The estimated gross sales for the first year under the farming project equal $170,000. This is a result of cultivating 500 acres of land. The $200,000 investment and subsequent farm start-up will also help to increase agriculture production and crop productivity in Ghana. Current farming methods in Ghana are way behind-the-times, and thus production is much lower than what is possible. Our goal is to implement modern technologies, modern methods, and "best-practices" for this large-scale operation so as to maximize efficiency, land-use, and production. With the purchase of the fully equipped farming tractors, trucks, salon cars and pick-ups, storage facilities with all implements, it will increase production in the maize and cassava farming.

The hiring of highly experienced farming professionals is essential to the success of our operation. Therefore, we have hired Mr. Isaac Anane as our farm manager. Mr. Anane has a total of seven years experience working large modern farms in Ghana. In addition, we have set up a consulting arrangement with Mrs. Lydia Yawa Kwasitsu at the Ministry of Agriculture. She is the Seed Coordinator and Consultant of Farming with the Ministry of Agriculture. Mrs. Kwasitsu has provided us with excellent resource materials to aid us in optimizing our farm operation and the business summary.

We will end up in a timely harvest and a proper maintenance of equipments. The budgeted projection for developing an excellent working force is $16,400 that of providing fully farming equipment and implements is $76,700. Ghana is indeed a country full of natural resources. In addition, the Statistical Department of the Ministry of Agriculture in Ghana reports that it is projected that we will have a bountiful harvest within 6 months.

SUMMARY: The prospect for success for Rescue Farms is very good.

LONG-RANGE PLANS: Rescue Farms will be expanding its business with new products as time goes on to meet demand. It is also our objective to become one of the biggest producers of maize and cassava in Ghana. The projected 7years gross revenue equals $3.5million.

RESCUE FARMS - OUR MISSION: is to provide huge productivity in the agriculture sector to meet demand. In addition, we plan to offer farming education, resources, and assistance to other farmers, so as to help other Africans to succeed. Our non-profit, charitable objective is and to generate resources to support the needy and dying children in Ghana. Once Rescue Farms is established, our plan is that we will allocate our profits to help the needy children first in our local area, and then to expand to other areas of Ghana. Rescue Farms is a Kingdom business under RESCUE AID FOUNDATION, a non-governmental Christian organization formed to provide physiological and spiritual needs of Ghana. (www.rescuesouls.org)

The business will be very effective and productive when it comes to these crops and will be sold all across the Ghanaian market and outside because of its wide range. The short term goals of this business are to increase productivity and sales based on our strategic and exclusive channels with various re-sellers.
